The article addresses the issue of technicians and technology for cutting and assembling reeds grown in drainage collectors and channels. The article gives the advantages and disadvantages of existing methods for cleaning reeds, proposes a new method for cutting and harvesting reeds grown in drainage collectors and channels, theoretical basics of cutting reeds, designs of the working body for cutting and harvesting reeds, which consists of a cutting segment knife, and the reeds are assembled special invaders captured reeds plunges using an excavator on trolleys which it is transported feed farms.
