Annotation: The article is devoted to four aspects of the development of information and library infrastructure for the Central Asian region. These are the tasks of increasing the role of libraries, integration processes, digitalization in information and library activities and the development of human resources. The implementation of integration projects will ultimately have a positive impact on the development of science, education, culture and economy in the republics of Central Asia. The development of library activity and the development of book exchange significantly affects the development of social, economic activity and peaceful coexistence of the peoples of the region.
