Араб тилли матнларнинг библиографик ёзувини шакллантириш: бугунги ҳолати ва муаммолар

As a result of the deep penetration of digital technologies into library activities, new directions and types of services are emerging in the industry. As a result, libraries, especially large ones, are moving from a local type of service to an international service at the global level. It is this aspect that requires changing the rules that have been used in practice in libraries for many years, giving rise to the need for a completely new approach to some issues. One of these issues is related to the fact that when forming a bibliographic record in foreign languages, especially rare editions, it is allowed to give the name of the work in transliteration, transcription or translation. This approach has been preserved even today in the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States and has been used in practice since the last century – since Soviet times, even being fixed through state standards that coordinate the activities of the library. In fact, this approach was correct in the last century, when libraries served the user locally. It has ceased to be in demand due to the widespread use of digital technologies in library activities and the transition to global service. The article analyzes and substantiates this problem in detail.
