В статье рассмотрена и рассчитана тормозная система новой автомотрисы АС- 01Уз, входящей в состав специального подвижного состава железных дорог. Aвтомотриса представляет собой двухосное транспортное средство, в котором, согласно установленной схеме, используется тормозное оборудование. В тормозной системе используются компрессор, кран-машиниста, магистральная часть, воздухораспределитель, резервуар, тормозной цилиндр, тормозной башмак, чугунная колодка и другое оборудование. В статье определены критерии обеспечения эффективности торможения, сила прижатия тормозной колодки, сила сжатия внутренней пружины тормозного цилиндра, определен коэффициент трения тормозных колодок и величина удельного сопротивления движению, так же произведен расчет на отсутствие юза колесных пар автомотрисы при торможении, коэффициент трения и тормозной путь при экстренном торможении.
