Based on the findings of the study on seed growth of autumn wheat during 2 years, it was found out that under same conditions of sowing, rate of seed growth was higher in sowings with direct planting seeders than sowings with traditional seeder. The number of plants in direct planting was 10 % less than traditional method. In 2006, growth rate of seeds of both methods was higher, at the same time, growth rate under condition of direct planting was 8% less than traditional sowing method.
