In studies, the development of long-term dynamics of the number of cotton scoops has been studied. The results of the research showed that the number of cotton scoops in 2015 was insignificant, and in 2017 its population increased sharply. That is, the average number of trapped on pheromone traps was 17,5 pieces of butterflies. Weather conditions in 2017 were as follows: air temperature in summer was +34оС, in autumn +22оС, in winter +14оС on average. It was revealed that the number of cotton bollworm fluctuated sharply by the seasons, depending on the weather conditions. The highest number of butterflies was observed in August.
