To mitigate the water scarcity that is increasing year after year due to climate change, it is necessary to adapt farmers to climate change by effectively using the water that nature provides-precipitation, streamlets, streams and tributaries of rivers. The article presents data on the historical and currently used methods of retaining and using these waters in various ways, and structures on their basis.
