Мақолада бугунги куннинг долзарб муаммоларидан бири бўлган сув хўжалиги тизимларида сув сарфини ўлчаш масаласи кўриб чиқилган. Тадқиқот объекти сифатида Миришкор магистрал каналидан сув олувчи УР-6 А суғориш канали танланган. УР-6 А суғориш каналининг ПК-1+00-пикетида Миришкор ирригация тизими бошқармаси гидрометр ходимлари билан биргаликда “ГР-21м1” маркали вертушка ҳамда “SonTek” S5 маркали доплер ёрдамида дала тадқиқотлари олиб борилган. Ўлчов ишларида иккита ўлчов воситаларининг аниқлик даражаси, ўлчов жойида фойдаланиш қулайлиги ва иқтисодий самарадорлиги таҳлил қилинган. Ўлчов натижаларига кўра, гидрометрик вертушка орқали аниқланган ўртача сув сарфи Q=2,39 m3 /с, доплер ёрдамида ўлчанган ўртача сув сарфи Q=2,261 m3 /с ни ташкил этди.
