The article presents data on the treatment of patients suffering from coronary heart disease and AH. The main principles of treatment of patients with IHD in combination with AH remain adequate control over the level of blood pressure, the appointment of antiplatelet agents and statins. To achieve the target level of blood pressure, b-blockers are used (it is necessary to choose metabolically neutral preparations of this class) and calcium antagonists, the latter demonstrating high efficiency in the combination of IHD and AH; ACE inhibitors and APA not only can reliably control blood pressure level, but also have additional beneficial effects, in addition to reducing the blood pressure.
