Fibroblastlarning o'sish omili yoki FGF angiogenez, yaralarni davolash va embrion rivojlanishda ishtirok etadigan o'sish omillari oilasiga tegishlidir. Fibroblast o'sish omillari geparinni bog'laydigan oqsillardir. Hujayra yuzasi proteoglikanlari bilan o'zaro ta'sir qilish fibroblast o'sish omillarining signal uzatilishi uchun zarur ekanligi isbotlangangan. Fibroblast o'sish omillari keng doiradagi hujayralar va to'qimalarni proliferasiya va differensirovkasida asosiy rol o'ynaydi. Odamlarda FGF oilasining 22 vakili topilgan, ularning barchasi tizimli ravishda o'xshash signalli molekulalardir.
