This paper explores strategies to enhance the tourism potential of the Surkhandarya region, situated in Uzbekistan. The region, boasting a rich cultural heritage and diverse natural landscapes, holds significant untapped opportunities for tourism development. Drawing upon a review of existing literature and empirical evidence, this study identifies key factors influencing tourism in Surkhandarya and proposes a multifaceted approach to leverage its unique attractions. Strategies encompass infrastructure improvement, promotion of cultural heritage sites, development of ecotourism initiatives, community involvement, and collaboration with stakeholders. By implementing these strategies, Surkhandarya can position itself as a compelling destination, fostering economic growth, preserving cultural heritage, and promoting sustainable tourism development.
