Ҳозирги кунда ишлаб чиқариш саноатидаги асосий эътибор энергия ва ресурс тежамкорлигига эришиш масалаларига қаратилмоқда. Технологик жараёнларни автоматлаштиришдаги асосий вазифалардан бу кам энергия ва ресурс сарфлаб, юқори сифатли маҳсулотлар ишлаб чиқариш ҳамда бошқарув жараёнининг сифатини яхшилайдиган интеллектуал усуллардан фойдаланиб, юқори самарали бошқариш тизимларини яратишдир. Мазкур вазифалар юзасидан бир қатор етакчи хорижий мамлакатларда кўпгина ютуқларга эришилган бўлиб, бунда, асосан, технологик объектларни бошқариш тизимларини такомиллаштириш ва ишлаб чиқариш самарадорлигини ошириш муҳим аҳамият касб этмоқда. Бошқарув объекти сифатида олинган технологик қурилма кўп ўлчамли ва кўп боғланишли бўлганлиги учун рақамли бошқариш тизимини моделлаштириш ва синтезлаш алгоритмлари интеллектуал усуллар сирасига мансуб бўлган алгоритмлардан фойдаланиб ечилди.
