Uglerod nuqtalari (Carbon Dots, CD) ekologik toza va ko ‘p funksiyali nanomateriallar sifatida e’tiborni tortmoqda. Ushbu maqolada tarvuz po ‘ stlog ‘idan foydalanib uglerod nuqtalarining sintezi, o ‘lchamlari va xossalari o ‘ rganildi. Suv, etanol va metanol kabi uch xil erituvchilarda sintez qilingan uglerod nuqtalarining o ‘lchami mos ravishda 76 nm, 48 nm va 7 nm ekanligi aniqlandi. Uglerod nuqtalarining antibakterial va antiviral xossalari mavjud bo ‘lib, ularning strukturasi kristallik ekanligi qayd etildi. Ushbu materiallar tibbiyot, ekologiya va boshqa sohalarda yangi imkoniyatlar yaratadi
