This article examines the institutional role of the Uzbekistan Textile and Garment Industry Association in managing innovation projects and facilitating sector-wide modernization of Uzbekistan’s textile industry. It analyzes major initiatives implemented with the association’s involvement, including cotton-textile clusters, GIZ Uzbekistan, synthetic fiber production, and textile technoparks. The article concludes with recommendations for effective management of these projects, as well as exploring opportunities for applying international best practices in innovation project management.
