This article focuses on the organization of the educational process based on the credit-module system in modern educational conditions in the Republic of Uzbekistan. In higher education institutions, efforts are made to reveal the pedagogical features of improving students' independent learning competence under the conditions of the creditmodule system, and the prospects of work to be carried out to improve the competence of students under the conditions of the credit-module education system are determined.
