Maqolada yirik miqyosdagi turbulentlikka ega bo‘lgan oqimli suv omborlarida shamol to‘lqinlarining tarqalishi masalasi ko‘rib chiqilgan. Tadqiqotlar jarayonida to‘lqinlar va oqimlar o‘zaro ta’sirlashganda yuzaga keladigan sohil bo‘ylab oqimlarga ta’sir etuvchi asosiy omillar ilmiy jihatdan tahlil qilingan. Olib borilgan tadqiqotlar natijasida murakkab konfiguratsiyaga ega suv omborlarida oqimlar sharoitida shamol to‘lqinlari parametrlarini aniqlash uchun bog‘lanishlar olingan. To‘lqinlarning oqimga qo‘shilishi sharoitida to‘lqin parametrlarini aniqlash uchun oldin olingan hisoblash bog‘lanishlari aniqlashtirilgan. Tog‘ oldi va tog‘li hududlarda barpo etilgan suv omborlari tekislikdagi omborlarga nisbatan sohillarning qayta shakllanish jarayonlari ancha murakkabligi bilan tavsiflanadi. Aralash oqimga ega murakkab konfiguratsiyali suv omborida shamol to‘lqinlarini oldindan bashorat qilish bosqichlari keltirilgan, shuningdek, tog‘ oldi suv omborlarida to‘lqinlarni hisobga olgan holda sohil bo‘ylab oqimlarni hisoblash algoritmi taklif etilgan. Oqimli suv omborlarida, ayniqsa jadallashuv uchastkasining torligi va statsionar oqimning to‘lqinlar rivojiga ta’siri holatida, shamol to‘lqinlarini bashorat qilish usuli taklif etilgan.
