The article summarizes the results of research conducted on the territory of the Aral Sea and the dried bottom of the Aral Sea. For the purpose of afforestation and the creation of forest plantations here. The main properties and ecological-meliorative conditions of soils analyzed. The data on the study of the mechanical composition, agrochemical properties, the content of water-soluble salts and the establishment of chemise and the degree of salinity of soils of the dried seabed presented.
