Юрак ишемик касаллиги (ЮИК) мавжуд беморларда хавотир-депрессив ҳолатларнинг (ХДҲ) биомаркерларини аниқлаш биологик психосоматиканинг келгуси йиллардаги энг мухим вазифаларидан биридир. ХДҲ эрта ташхислашда триптофан парчаланишининг кинуренин йўли метаболитларини предикторлик моҳиятини бахолаш мақсадида 112 нафар шахс, улардан 84 та ЮИК мавжуд беморлар ва 28 амалий соғломлар текширилди. Тадқиқотда клиникпсихометрик, масс-спектрометрик ва статистик усуллар қўлланилган. Беморлар орасида ХДҲ яқоллигига боғлиқ равишда қонда KYN ўртача миқдори бўйича тафовутлар аниқланди ва олинган натижаларга кўра: ХДҲ мавжуд беморларда KYN миқдори 1,76 мкмоль/л дан 3,78 мкмоль/л гача, аффектив бузилишлар бўлмаган беморларада эса KYN - 1,48 мкмоль/л дан 2,98 мкмоль/л гача диапазон миқдорида бўлган. Шуниндек, қондаги KYN миқдори HAS шкаласи бўйича хавотирнинг яққоллик кўрсаткичлари (r=0,54; p=0,05) ва HDS бўйича депрессия даражаси (r=0,57; p=0,01) орасида юқори мусбат корреляция аниқланди. Олинган натижалар, ЮИК мавжуд беморларда нейротоксик метаболит-KYN миқдори ошиши яққол даражадаги хавотир ва депрессия ривожланишига мойиллик мавжудлигидан далолад беради.
