The article presents the results of experimental studies of a spiked cylinder with multifaceted prismatic and cylindrical spiky for cleaning cotton from small waste. Also the scheme and principle of work of an effective design of a drum with multifaceted and cylindrical pegs of cotton cleaner from small litter is given. Given the results of experimental studies to determine the strength of the interaction of pegs with cotton at different performance of the cleaner.
