The most important aspect of construction projects for the safety of workers is to provide workers with convenient and comfortable uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE), since the variety of work performed on construction sites dictates a wide range of dangerous and harmful factors affecting people. It is known that on construction sites of high-rise buildings, where there is a danger of falling from a height, elements of worker insurance should be provided. Especially in the construction of new high-rise buildings, various types of safety belts are used to provide workers insurance. Existing safety belts for builders from falling from a height are studied and their shortcomings are revealed, requirements to them are systematized, advantages and disadvantages when using them at a construction site are identified. Taking into account the increasing level of industrial injuries, as well as the insufficient assortment and low quality of personal protective equipment, it is necessary to carry out a series of works to create domestic personal protective equipment with enhanced protective properties, combined with their comfort, reliability and low cost.
