ARTICLE ANNOTATION

quote
Halophilic and halotolerant bacteria were isolated from hypersaline waters, soils and salt deposits in Karakalpakstan (Nukus, Kungrad), Kashkadarya (Dekhkanabad), Fergana (Yazyavan), Namangan (Chust, Mingbulak) regions. The isolated bacteria were grown in liquid and solid saline medium containing 5, 10, 15 and 20% NaCl. It was determined the halophilic and halotolerant bacteria and their potential of forming extracellular polysaccharides was investigated.
