AORTIC ATHEROSCLEROSIS IN WOMEN WITH SUDDEN CORONARY DEATH

It was studied on the aorta of 100 women morphometric characteristics of aortic atherosclerosis in women with sudden coronary death. Complicated lesions and calcification were more common in people who died from SCD. Every 10 years of life is accompanied by a progression of the area of the aortic lesion, but at a different rate depending on the cause of death. The course of the atherosclerotic process in individuals who died from sudden coronary death can be characterized as accelerated in comparison with the control group.
