The scientific article is devoted to a study of nootropic effect of medicinal plant Saffron Sativa (Crocus sativus), for that, methods such as technique of the Conditioned Passive Avoidance Reflex (passive avoidance reaction), the effect of saffron extract on behavior in the Morris Water Maze and on motor activity according to Lapin have been used. It was also determined an effect of saffron on Hall research activity in white mice and on the hypnotic effect of etaminal, on Kilfoyl's Anxiety. It has been Conducted psychopharmacological experiments in mice showed that the extract of Saffron Sativa (Crocus sativus) reduced locomotor activity, decreased research activity by Hall, expressed strengthening of hypnotic action of etaminal and showed anti-anxiety effect.
