The aim of the study was a comparative ABC/ VEN analysis of drugs (hepatoprotectors) used for the treatment of chronic hepatitis and cirrhosis in the period 2006-2016. Revealed by the results of a study that, in 2006-2016. among prescribed hepatoprotectors in chronic liver diseases, the proportion of ursodeoxycholic acid preparations increased to 30% and the proportion of preparations containing silymarin (Karsil) decreased to 20%, while preparations containing essential phospholipids did not undergo significant changes. Pharmacoeconomic analysis (ABC/VEN analysis) of drugs used to treat chronic liver diseases showed that in 2006­ 2016. in the structure of the most consumable drugs (A group), their number is represented insufficiently for both etiotropic and pathogenetic therapies, it was dominated by minor drugs of infusion and metabolic series.
