modern linguistics, the study of systemicity of the lexical level by highlighting and describing semantic Microsystems (fields, groups, etc.) relevant. The category of time occupies an important place in the conceptual and linguistic pictures of the world. The article attempts to describe the lexical means of the modern Russian language, which have already attracted the attention of scientists. The novelty of the study lies in the fact that the authors consider temporal vocabulary in the broad context of vocabulary – the sematic system of the language, revealing the paradigmatic relationship and syntagmatic connections of its units. The main goal of the work is to determine the specifics expressed by the concept of time in the words of different parts of speech in the communication process. The analysis of the selected word array was carried out by the methods of opposition, distribution, the transformation method and the substitution method. The results of this work and its technological apparatus are described in the description of vocabulary – the semantic system of the modern Russian language and in vocabulary – graphic practice.
