HISTORICAL-CULTURAL HERITAGE AND NATIONAL SELF-AWARENESS

This article discusses the phenomenon of historical and cultural heritage and its impact on the process of national identity. Independence has allowed our people to realize their identity, their place in human development and global social existence. However, experience shows that an understanding of national identity affects the spirit, mentality and lifestyle of a people, nation only when it is based on the phenomenon of historical and cultural heritage. The article also discusses the contradictory features of globalization and their impact on the historical and cultural heritage, ethnic culture.
