MORPHOLOGICAL ANALISYS OF TERMS IRRIGATION AND MELIORATION IN UZBEK AND ENGLISH LANGUAGES

This article is devoted to the morphological analysis of the terms irrigation and melioartion in English and Uzbek. It provides a comprehensive comparative and typological analysis and study of industry-specific terms. Special attention is paid to the affixation method, which is considered to be productive in the construction of terms (formation), and the terms created by this method are analyzed. In addition, the terms of irrigation and melioration in Uzbek and English are lexically-semantically, functionally-semantically, systematically-structurally modeled in the article. English and Uzbek alternatives to the terms are also given. It was found that most of the analyzed terms are affixed Uzbek irrigation and melioraton terms, and their English alternatives are sometimes given as a separate lexeme, and in some cases in the form of a word combination or compound word.
