The article analyzes Hashimov's work "Between Two Doors" and render on its social, universal, modern value. Through excerpts from the work, the mentality and character of the participating in it, the essence, genre and artisty of the work are revealed. The value of this novel, written in a unique polyphonic manner, has not been lost to the present time , on the contrary, it is shown by the life and truthful expression of such qualities as humanity, humanitarianism, patriorism, sincerity and the events reflected in the life and psyche of each character in the novel.
