In 2020-2022, archaeological research was carried out to identify artifacts belonging to ancient cultures in the foothills of Khanabad. The study of 2020 was mainly carried out to determine the originality and features of the Honobod- 1 mound. During excavations in 2021, burial M1 was completely uncovered and the locations of neighboring burials were also identified, for the identification of which the “tanchan” method was used. These burials received conventional designations - M3, M4, M5. During the excavations, the presence of mounds and ceramics, similar to those of the Eilaton culture carriers, was revealed.
