ARTICLE ANNOTATION

quote
Water is an absolutely extraordinary mineral element. The extremely important role of water, this simple chemical compound of hydrogen and oxygen, in a living organism has not yet been fully studied. First of all, because it is the most famous and at the same time the most mysterious substance. The extraordinary properties of water molecules are one of the most important foundations of complex physiological and biochemical reactions inherent in the processes of life on our planet Earth. Thus, it is known that the maximum manifestation of the potential productivity of plants at the level of genotypic programs of each variety depends on the intensity of photosynthesis and leaf area, which, in turn, depend on the water-nutrient regime and agrotechnics of cotton. The importance of water in plant life is determined by a number of its properties. Water is not only a solvent of food elements and a medium in which vital processes take place, but also a substance whose constituent parts are consumed and synthesized again in the process of plant life. In order to determine the optimal timing, irrigation norms, the level of soil fertility and the applied agricultural technology is of great importance, which has a very great influence on the need of plants for water at all stages of ontogenesis. The great chemist D.I. Mendeleev noted back in the XIX century that the low level of agricultural technology cannot be compensated by any, even the highest doses of fertilizers.
