The article analyzes Arabic sources of XII–XIII centuries, such as «as-Sila fi tarix a’immat al-Andalus», «Bugat al-multamis fi tarix rijol ahl al-Andalus», «Kitob al-Takmila li kitob al-sila», «Nuzhat al-mushtoq fi-ihtiroq al-afoq», «al- Maso‘il al-Siqilliyya», defined in the framework of the study on «The study of the scientific heritage of scholars of East in medieval translation centers of Europe». Although western source scholars as historical, bio-bibliographic and geographical sources have studied these works, they are not considered as sources that can give an idea of the history of medieval European translation centers. The author revealed information about the translation activity of the XII–XIII centuries presented in these works, which was subjected to comparative analysis with information from Latin-language sources. The results of the comparative analysis are that the data from Arabic and Latin sources mutually confirm each other, and in some cases, the above works clarify and supplement abstractions and confusion contained in Latin sources.
