The peoples of Turkestan, Afghanistan and Azerbaijan have been very close to each other in terms of language, religion, culture and values since ancient times. At the beginning of the 20th century, the luminaries of our nation established cultural and educational relations with free-thinking, progressive and nationalist intellectuals of these two countries. This article analyzes the issues of cooperation between Turkestan jadids and the progressives of Afghanistan and Azerbaijan in organizing press work, establishing and developing theater activities. The principle of historicity, systematicity, comparative analysis methods were used in the research. Cooperation between Turkestan jadids and the progressives of Afghanistan and Azerbaijan in the fields of literature, press, and theater was established. The articles of Sharifjan Sofizoda, Abdurauf Fitrat, Sadriddin Ainiy, Zuhriddin Fathiddinzade from Turkestan, devoted to the promotion of the ideas of education, education, and national liberation, were published in the newspaper “Siroj ul Akhbar Afganiya” in Afghanistan, while the articles of Afghan intellectuals It was published in “Samarkand” newspaper. Azerbaijani-Uzbek intellectuals united to convey the ideas of scientific development and struggle for freedom to the people through theater. The Uzbek, Azerbaijani, and Afghan peoples became aware of each other's social life and culture as a result of the theater and press cooperation of the intellectuals of these countries.
