This article talks about paraphrase in prose works. The paraphrase in the works of A. Kakhhorin, "Mirage", "Sinchalak", "Tuyda aza", "Ming bir zhon", "Bashorat" is analyzed. The importance of paraphrasing in revealing the unique characteristics of the participants of the work, ensuring the artistic integrity of the work, and conveying the author`s concept is shown. Therefore, theoretical conclusions are made about the process and methods of using this imaging tool. In the process of analysis, the literary text is directly addressed and scientific and theoretical conclusions are made. Special attention is paid to writing skills.
