In the article, the lyrical poems dedicated to the freedom of the country written by Abdulla Avloni and the Azerbaijani poet Aliakbar Sabir are analyzed in a comparative way. The main attention is paid to the traditional poetic series and common aspects in the poetry of these poets. While analyzing the stylistic similarity in the poetry of the poets of both nations, the issues of artistry, such as the image and the skill of using words in their lyrical works, were studied. At the beginning of the last century, the people of Turkestan and Azerbaijan were sinking into the quagmire of backwardness in every field, changes in the social and political life of the country, the blind policies that were being carried out on the common people, and the misfortunes that fell upon the nation, expressed in the poetry of poets. The issue of the influence of the idea raised on the work of Abdulla Avloni, which was raised in the translated poems of the Azerbaijani poet Aliakbar Sabir by the poet and journalist Karim Bahriyev of the "Khop-Khopnoma" department, is discussed. The harmony of poets' creative intention and methodological worldview is included in the scope of analysis, such as irony (in relation to government leaders), discussion (in family problems). The fact that the lyrical characters of the representatives of the two nations spoke in their own language is also of great importance in expressing the attitude to the problems raised in the poems. This tradition in linguistic means is considered a unique innovative effect.
