IS THERE A PLACE FOR LEGAL LINGUISTICS IN UZBEK LINGUISTICS?

The article reveals the importance of jurisprudence in the development of Uzbek linguistics. The author cites legal terms as an example to clarify the essence of the topic and touches on their use in the normative legal documents of the Republic of Uzbekistan, referring to the research conducted by world linguists, jurists and Uzbek researchers in this direction. In particular, the dictionary of legal terms, the degree of belonging of legal terms to their own and acquired layers, lexical-semantic properties of terms, cites the researches carried out. In addition, he notes that there is still work to be done on this topic, scientific research is ahead. Because until now, researches in the field of jurisprudence have been carried out only by linguists or lawyers, and in these studies, each researcher has a one-sided approach to the topic based on his specialty. That is, the linguist from his point of view, and the jurist from his point of view, emphasizes that he has begun to reveal the essence of the subject. At the same time, he specially acknowledges the achievement of Uzbek researchers who have conducted extensive scientific research in the field of juris-linguistics. However, scientific research in this field is carried out by researchers who have knowledge in both linguistics and legal field, which means that it plays an important role in providing and maintaining the intermediate balance between both fields.
