MODERN APPROACHES TO TEXT RESEARCH

In the following years, several directions in the study of the text emerged in Uzbek linguistics. This article discusses modern principles and approaches to text analysis. In particular, the role and function of grammatical, semantic, compositional-stylistic, differentiating principles in traditional linguistics in the differentiation of textual units through linguistic arguments are highlighted. Also, the most modern approaches to the study of the text are recognized as: a) the linguocentric approach (the aspect of the “language - text" relationship); b) a text-oriented (text-centric) approach (in which the text is analyzed as a separate structural and semantic whole without emphasis on the relations of communication participants); c) an anthropocentric approach (in which the text is considered as a separate structural and semantic whole).the aspect of the author–text-reader relationship); g) the cognitive approach (the aspect of the author–text– extra-textual activity correlation) is aimed at identifying the main aspects of text analysis. The purpose of the article is to show the main aspects of the analysis. The article uses synchronous-descriptive, descriptive, component analysis, oppositional, comparative methods. The conducted research shows that the existing principles of traditional linguistics and these modern approaches are of particular importance in the complex analysis of the text based on the requirements of the present time. The article highlights such aspects of text research and makes a clear conclusion that modern approaches have a high probability of evaluating the text in various aspects.
