This article describes the linguistic features of the Tajik dialects that arose as a result of linguistic contacts between the Uzbek and Tajik populations living in the Rishton district of the Fergana region. Detailed information about the theoretical basis and research methods is also given. In the work, as general theoretical methods, such methods as comparison, opposition, the method of transformational analysis, and generalization were used. The Uzbek and Tajik languages, belonging to genealogically and typologically different language families, have a number of common features not only at the lexical, but also at the phonetic, morphological and syntactic levels of the language, the emergence of which is justified based on a large number of examples.
