This article discusses the fact that ecolinguistics is one of the most relevant areas of Uzbek linguistics today, it is about the protection of linguistic diversity and some negative phenomena that damage the purity of our native language and distort speech. The article describes some of the ecolinguistic problems of maintaining the purity of the language, which is becoming an actual problem. The author elaborates on linguistic phenomena such as argo, slang, vulgarism, barbarism, and stylistic phenomena such as agnonym.
