The article discusses the historical words used in Farida Afro‘z's poetic works. The possibilities of expressiveness of archaisms, the level of expressiveness, and the purposes of their use were discussed. It has been proven that all obsolete words in poetic speech can be used not only with the color of oldness and historicity, but also with colors of cheerfulness, simplicity, fluency, melodiousness, and even newness. The article also analyzes the characteristics of the author's individual style, poetic possibilities, and the poetic skill of the poetess.
