This article analyzed the pragmatic meaning expression of phraseological units in the speech of the military in the German language. In the speech of the military subculture, the appearance of the emotional theme in the positive themes such as loyalty, duty to the Motherland and steadfastness, and the appearance of the negative themes such as laziness, inexperience, and lack of professional skills were highlighted in German examples. Also, in the article, it was shown, based on the sources, that it is divided into informative sema and pragmatic sema, informative sema includes naming sema and relative sema, and pragmatic sema contains both emotional and expressive sema. The analysis of pragmatic semantics in phraseological units in military speech was carried out.
