In the article, the use of units of the national language, which served as a lexical tool in the manifestation of the specific stylistic features of the texts characteristic of the artistic style, is revealed in the example of research in the language of the stories of the writer O‘tkir Khoshimov. The words used in the national language are processed in the artistic text and used in figurative meanings to create impact, the popularized deep meaning phrases, proverbs and sayings in the Uzbek folk language are used to individualize the speech of the characters, to increase the imagery. It is analyzed and interpreted. It is interpreted that the units of the national language are creatively used in artistic texts and used as means for increasing emotional-expressiveness.
