By the 80s of the XX century, a number of changes arose both in poetry and in criticism. Literary critics, having made a deep analysis of the lyrics, began to evaluate the value of the poet, the poem. Nevertheless, the search for socio-political innovation in poetry was obvious in the analysis. The article analyzes the attitude of literary critics of the 80s to poetry. The interpretations of literary criticism of this period are reflected.
