VIEWS OF TURCOLOGISTS ON THE PHONETIC COMPOSITION OF TURKISH WORDS

In linguistics, there are different opinions about the phonetic composition of Turkish root words. Since Turkish root words historically go back to the K+V+K phonetic composition, only Turkic words with this phonetic composition are considered root words. Not all modern Turkic words with this phonetic structure can be historically recognized as Turkic root words. There are also some Turkish words that are in the form of a root word, which historically had a certain grammatical form of a root word, and according to phonetic development, it is observed that they came to the form of a Turkish root word. In this article, the phonetic composition of Turkish root words is studied based on the method of historical and comparative analysis. The article is based on the scientific and theoretical views of Turkic scientists, including M. Mirtojiyev. As a result, the facts about the structure of Turkish root words were explained. M. Mirtojiyev's research on Turkish root verbs was used to explain these facts.
