The article talks about the historical roots of pamflet, in particular, about the fact that its feature of revealing various vices in society through bitter laughter has existed in Uzbek literature for a long time. In this case, the author analyzes the elements of satire in the works of such representatives of classical literature as Alisher Navoi, Turdi Farogiy, Gulkhani, Muqimi, compares the role to the novel-pamphlet of Nurali Kabul. Satirical laughter and shows different and similar aspects of pamflet. As a result, pamflet comes to the conclusion that Uzbek literature has its own historical basis.
