This article deals with the aspect and the actional meanings of the action-movement verb gehen which has two actional features in the explanatory dictionary (in Langenscheidt), as well as the aspectual meanings of the verbs to go, to leave, to walk in the explanatory dictionary of the Uzbek language, which may be synonymous with the verb gehen. Therefore, the author campares the examples of gehen collected from the fictional literature with the forms of Uzbek translations, analyzes different and similar aspects of the tense forms, its peculiarities in the translation into the Uzbek language.
