The purpose of this article is to analyze the functional abilities of freed students and draw up a number of recommendations for conducting physical education classes. Based on the study of the experimental contingent, the main diseases were identified: diseases of the circulatory system, musculoskeletal system, diseases of the respiratory system, as well as visual impairment. 3 diagnostic tests were conducted to check the functional state of students. Recommendations have been drawn up for organizing health exercises. Based on all the results of diagnostic tests and analysis, conclusions were drawn: each student needs an individual approach. All subjects in this group have different diseases. These results of one sample correspond to good indicators, then when in-depth viewing of individual health indicators, there are deviations from the norm, since it is associated with both the disease and the low motor activity of students.
