The article analyzes the story "Sisters" from the collection of James Joyce "Dubliners". History describes the harmony of space and time. This story is the first of a series of three stories describing the children's phase of a separate organism in accordance with the "biological" model of the book of Joyce. The Sisters Universe is a world of children's perception. The child’s story — and the style of the story — the natural rhythm of the story — is related (story time, day and night, sleep disturbances) because the child is closer to nature than an adult. The time of history is the time to follow the natural law and the rhythm of nature. Key features of chronological signs in the text testify to this. Stories have a constant repetition of the same kind of story. The story "Sisters" is in the first person. The text even contains the story of the internal dialogue of the narrator, the story of his secret sins. Thus, the reader accepts the child’s point of view and obeys his biological rhythm and enters the world of “Dubliners”.
