ARTICLE ANNOTATION

quote
It was studied the effect of polyphenol gossitan, isolated from the plant Gossypium hirsutuim hypoglycemic properties on the passive permeability of the membranes for single and double-valentcations of rat liver mitochondria under conditions of normal and alloxan diabetes in in vivo experiments. The has been shown increase of passive permeability of mitochondrial membranes for single and double-valent cations in under condition of alloxan diabetes was demonstrated. Pharmacotherapy of gossitan laboratory animals with diabetes showed the change and correction of passive permeability of mitochondrial membranes for single and double-valentcations.
