ARTICLE ANNOTATION

quote
The aim of this investigation was to study the effect of stress on monooxygenase enzymes (MOS). The studies carried out with the differentiation of inducible, constitutive androgen and estrogen-dependent forms, as well as alcohol-inducible CYP 2E1 isoforms of cytochrome P-450 with the stress of animals showed that in the mechanism of inhibition of monooxygenase enzymes important role plays the increase in adrenaline and glucocorticoid levels in the blood, and also stimulation of the sympathetic nervous system in response to the impact of the stress factor. The obtained results also show that the androgen-dependent constitutive isoforms of cytochrome P-450 are susceptible to significant inhibition under the influence of stress factors. In general, it has been proven that a stress reaction has the ability to significantly affect both constitutive and induced CYP expression.
