This article examines the issue of assessing the eff ectiveness of the quality management system at production enterprises. The study analyzed the current state of the quality management system, its advantages and existing problems, and identified directions for improving the system using expert evaluation methods. The international experience of implementing and developing a quality management system was also analyzed, and the possibilities of its application in Uzbekistan's conditions were highlighted
